Yes. Areas are isolated and completed in agreed phases around racking, plant and traffic routes, so only part of the floor is out of use at any one time.

We do. Walkways, bays and hazard markings are set out with the site team and applied once the floor coating has cured.

Almost always preparation or moisture. Coatings fail where they were applied over laitance, oil contamination, curing compound or a slab without an effective damp proof membrane. Preparation is specified to address the cause, and where moisture is the issue that is reported before a system is priced.

Yes. The survey covers substrate condition, existing coatings, contamination and moisture, because those determine which system can be used and what preparation is needed. Findings are set out with the quotation.

It can. Aggregate or textured finishes are specified where the area is wet, sloped or used by pedestrians and vehicles together, balanced against how easily the floor needs to be cleaned.

The system is selected for the traffic it has to carry - foot traffic, pallet trucks, forklifts or heavier plant - so tell us the loadings and turning areas at survey stage and the specification is written accordingly.

Yes. Floor work is regularly programmed into shutdowns, weekends and night shifts because it needs clear, empty areas and uninterrupted cure time.

Working areas need to be clear of stock and, where possible, of racking. Where racking cannot be moved, the scope is set out around it and the areas beneath are recorded as excluded so there is no confusion at handover.

Project duration depends entirely on the scale of the works - the area involved, access arrangements, the number of coats or stages, and drying times between them. Once a specification is agreed we confirm a programme in writing, and we hold slots for urgent or weather-critical work.
